These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Miles and Memories India's services, including car rental bookings, website access, mobile applications, and all related platforms.
In addition, these terms apply to all customers, visitors, and users. Likewise, by accessing our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms completely.

Furthermore, Miles and Memories India reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. As a result, we recommend you review this page periodically.
In the meantime, continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Acceptance of Terms

When you book a vehicle through Miles and Memories India, you agree to comply with all terms outlined here. This means you accept the rental agreement, payment conditions, and vehicle usage policies.
For this reason, it is crucial to read and understand every section before proceeding with your booking.

Moreover, you acknowledge that Miles and Memories India is not liable for any misunderstanding or failure to comply with these terms. Therefore, please ensure complete clarity regarding your obligations before confirmation.

Eligibility Requirements

To rent a vehicle from Miles and Memories India, you must meet certain criteria. Specifically, the following conditions apply:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driving license (Indian or International)
• Provide valid identity proof (Aadhaar, Passport, or PAN)
• Have a valid mobile number and email address
• Not be under any legal restrictions preventing vehicle operation
• Pass KYC and background verification

Although we strive to accommodate all customers, certain circumstances may render you ineligible. For example, if you have a history of traffic violations, outstanding fines, or previous rental disputes, your booking may be declined.
Similarly, drivers with suspended licenses or active criminal records will not be permitted to rent.

Booking and Reservation Policy

First, you must provide accurate information during the booking process. Second, all details must match your government-issued documents. Third, any false information may result in immediate cancellation without refund.

Reservation Process

• Select vehicle and dates through our platform
• Enter personal and payment information accurately
• Review booking summary before confirmation
• Receive confirmation via email and SMS
• Complete additional verification if required

Additionally, booking confirmation does not guarantee vehicle availability until final payment is received. Meanwhile, Miles and Memories India may cancel bookings due to vehicle unavailability or customer eligibility concerns.
In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

Furthermore, bookings are valid for the specified dates only. On the other hand, extensions are possible subject to vehicle availability and additional charges.

Payment and Pricing

All rental charges must be paid in full before vehicle pickup. Moreover, additional charges apply for late returns, fuel, toll violations, and damage repairs.

Notably, Miles and Memories India does not offer discounts on base rental rates. However, promotional offers may be available seasonally. Additionally, corporate and group bookings are subject to special negotiation.

Vehicle Rental Agreement

Upon picking up the vehicle, you must sign the rental agreement and accept vehicle condition. To illustrate, you will receive photographic documentation of the vehicle's condition.
Specifically, you are responsible for any damage incurred during your rental period.

At the time of pickup, the following must be verified:

• Vehicle mileage and fuel level
• Existing damage documentation
• Equipment and accessories status
• Insurance coverage confirmation
• Emergency contact information

During your rental period, you agree to use the vehicle solely for personal transportation. Hence, commercial use, rental to third parties, or transportation of hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.

Vehicle Condition and Maintenance

You are responsible for maintaining the vehicle in good condition throughout the rental period. Accordingly, any mechanical issues must be reported immediately to customer support.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure fuel level is maintained throughout rental
• Keep vehicle clean and free from damages
• Do not alter, modify, or disable vehicle systems
• Report accidents or damages immediately
• Return vehicle at agreed pickup location
• Return vehicle on time with full fuel tank

Notably, refueling must be done at authorized pumps. That is why fuel receipts must be provided upon vehicle return. If fuel is returned below the tank level, charges will apply at prevailing market rates plus a 20% service fee.

In contrast, Miles and Memories India is responsible for routine maintenance and mechanical repairs. Therefore, if the vehicle develops mechanical issues, you must contact support immediately for roadside assistance.

Liability and Damage Policy

You are liable for any damage caused to the vehicle during your rental period. Moreover, this includes accidental damage, theft, vandalism, and mechanical issues resulting from misuse.

Damage Classification

• Minor: Small dents, scratches, broken mirrors – repair cost up to ₹5,000
• Moderate: Window damage, body damage – repair cost ₹5,001 to ₹50,000
• Major: Engine damage, totaled vehicle – repair cost above ₹50,000

Unless damage is covered by insurance, you will bear the full repair cost. Consequently, your refundable deposit will be deducted accordingly. Additionally, if repair costs exceed the security deposit, we will invoice you for the balance.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations can be made online, via phone, or through customer support. Depending on when you cancel, different refund policies apply:

• More than 7 days before rental: Full refund of booking amount (minus processing fee)
• 3-7 days before rental: 75% refund of rental amount
• 1-3 days before rental: 50% refund of rental amount
• Less than 24 hours before rental: No refund (booking amount forfeited)
• After pickup: No refund; early return may entitle you to partial credit

Nevertheless, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days. In the meantime, security deposits are returned separately. However, if damage claims are pending, deposit refunds will be delayed accordingly.

Moreover, Miles and Memories India reserves the right to cancel bookings if you do not meet eligibility requirements. In such cases, a full refund will be issued without penalty.

Dispute Resolution

If any dispute arises between you and Miles and Memories India, we encourage resolution through friendly discussion. For this purpose, contact our customer support team with details of your concern.

Resolution Process

• Submit written complaint with supporting documents
• Our team will investigate within 5 business days
• We will provide resolution or explanation
• If unsatisfied, escalate to management
• Further escalation to legal arbitration if necessary

All disputes are governed by Indian law. Furthermore, the jurisdiction lies exclusively with courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Accordingly, both parties agree to settle disputes through this mechanism.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Smoking, consuming alcohol, or using drugs while driving
• Speeding or reckless driving
• Driving under the influence of any substance
• Transporting illegal goods or hazardous materials
• Subletting or renting the vehicle to third parties
• Using the vehicle for commercial purposes without authorization
• Driving outside India or without valid documentation
• Disabling or tampering with safety systems or GPS
• Carrying passengers beyond vehicle capacity
• Violating traffic rules or acquiring traffic penalties

Violation of any of these terms will result in immediate contract termination. Subsequently, you will be liable for all consequential damages, legal fees, and penalties.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Furthermore, all disputes shall be resolved under Indian legal jurisdiction. As a result, both parties agree to subject themselves to the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Moreover, Miles and Memories India complies with all applicable central and state motor vehicle laws. Additionally, all bookings and agreements are subject to prevailing government regulations.
